About the role:

Smoking related litter, especially cigarette butts, are one of the most littered plastic items worldwide. They are also a major contributor to microplastic litter. We are seeking to recruit a high-calibre Postdoctoral Researcher to facilitate a Delphi study into global approaches to mitigating strategies for smoking related litter with the ultimate goal to provide an expert-based, research-led database of most optimal solutions to smoking related litter. This will prompt international knowledge-sharing, debate and inform the development and assessment of further solutions to this global problem. This is a 18-month role in the first instance with prospects for an extension.

With a PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject, you’ll be creative, motivated and have experience in relevant qualitative and quantitative research methods and excellent project management skills. You will also have excellent ITC, written and oral communication skills.

Please note this post is fixed term for 18 months. Interviews will take place towards the end of March.
