As a postdoctoral fellow, you will be part of an enthusiastic and goal-oriented team to advance our recent studies (https://bit.ly/2Vv8XD9) and elucidate how transcription factor-instructed genome mis-folding contributes to oncogenesis and treatment response. Faryabi Lab (https://faryabib.github.io) is supported by National Cancer Institute, Susan G Komen, and Concern foundations among others to study mechanisms of epigenetic deregulation and genome mis-folding in cancer. We combine cutting-edge chromatin conformation capture (HiChIP, HiC, 4C-seq, etc), high-content oligopaint DNA FISH, and single-cell epigenomics (10X Genomics) with other biology techniques (e.g. cloning, PCR, Western blot, CRISPR/Cas9, etc). The lab provides a rich multi-disciplinary training environment in epigenetics, cancer biology, and genomics, and closely interact with Penn Epigenetics Institute, Abramson Cancer Center, and Penn Center for Personalized Medicine.

Expertise in cell and molecular biology at PhD/MD level is required. Experience in epigenomic assays (e.g. ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, Cut&Run, etc.) will be viewed favorably. Training opportunities for analyzing such genome-wide data sets are available.
