We currently have a postdoctoral position available in the laboratory of Dr. James Bardwell at the University of Michigan. The Bardwell lab utilizes directed evolution; protein design; and a variety of cutting-edge structural, biological, and genetic approaches to address human disease and the discovery and characterization of chaperones and their role in disease. Successful candidates will have been trained in directed evolution or structural biology, or biochemistry or bacterial or yeast genetics. Candidates with a strong publication record are preferred. Completion of a PhD in a related field is required by start date.
