一、学院介绍

南京大学软件学院是教育部首批国家级示范性软件学院,2021年入选国家首批特色化示范性软件学院(关键基础软件、行业应用软件),依托软件工程一级(A类)学科和计算机软件新技术全国重点实验室,建有“江苏省实验教学中心—软件工程实验教学中心”和“国家级实验教学中心—计算机科学与软件工程实验教学中心”(与计算机科学与技术系共建)等教学平台,先后三次荣获国家教学成果二等奖,在历次学科评估中均名列前茅。学院拥有一支高素质的师资队伍,现有教授9人,副教授(高级工程师)11人,其中长江学者特聘教授1名、杰青1名、四青人才1名。

二、招聘岗位设置

南京大学软件学院拟面向全球招聘有志于从事软件工程领域各主要研究方向的优秀青年人才到学院工作。本次拟招聘准聘助理教授岗位不超过3人,准聘副教授岗位不超过2人;特别优秀的高层次人才岗位另议。招聘研究方向包括:

(1)软件工程理论与方法;

(2)软件工程技术;

(3)软件服务工程;

(4)领域软件工程与工业软件;

(5)群智软件开发与生态。

三、申请条件

1. 遵守中华人民共和国法律和法规,热爱教学科研事业;

2. 具有良好的师德师风,恪守学术道德,勤勉工作,无犯罪记录,无违反师德师风和学术道德惩处记录;

3. 一流的学术背景:具有相关学科领域的博士学位,具有一流教学科研机构的学习、工作经验,熟悉相关领域国际前沿的研究动态。其中助理教授要求(博士毕业从事学术研究两年以上),准聘副教授要求(博士毕业从事学术研究4年以上);

4. 出色的教学能力:应具有能够胜任本专业核心基础课程和前沿课程的教学能力,掌握良好的教学方法,具有较强的语言表达能力;

5. 突出的科研成果显示度与未来科研发展潜力:应有相关研究方向的成果显示度,对相关研究领域有原创性观点,未来研究计划思路清晰,具有较好的学术潜力。

Tenure-track Faculty Positions in the School of Software, Nanjing University, China

I. About the School

The School of Software, Nanjing University, is one of earliest software schools established in China. In 2021, it was selected as one of the first batch of characteristic and exemplary software institutes in China (key basic software and industry application software). It hosts a number of high profile teaching and research centers, like Jiangsu Province Experimental Teaching Center-Software Engineering Experimental Teaching Center and National Experimental Teaching Center-Computer Science and Software Engineering Experimental Teaching Center (co-hosted with the Department of Computer Science and Technology). In terms of teaching, the school faculty have won the National Teaching Award three times. In terms of research, it was ranked very high by cs ranking.

II. Positions

The School invites applications from outstanding young talents from all over the world, in all areas of software engineering and computer science. The current openings include 3 tenure-track assistant professors and 2 tenure-track associate professors. Tenured positions are also available for particularly outstanding senior scholars and application will be considered case by case. Areas covered include, but are not limited to:

(1) Software engineering theory and methodology;

(2) Software engineering technology;

(3) Software service engineering;

(4) Domain software engineering and industrial software;

(5) Crowd-sourced software development and ecology.

III. Qualifications

The applicant should

(1) abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research;

(2) abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;

(3) have a first-rate background in academic training—a PhD in computer science, software engineering, or other related areas, experience in studying and/or working at first-rate teaching and research institutions, and knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research field(s). At least two years of postdoctoral research experience are required for the Assistant Professor applicants, and at least four years for Associate Professor applicants;

(4) have outstanding teaching abilities—the applicant should be able to teach core and front line courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;

(5) demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development.

(3) A summary of your research achievements, emphasizing their significance in terms of innovation;

(4) A research plan;

(5) Three reference letters;

(6) A summary of teaching experience.

V. Benefits Package
