一、学院介绍
南京大学空间地球科学研究院依托地球科学与工程学院建设,地球科学相关学科方向全、综合实力强、国际影响显著,在教育部历次学科评估中均名列前茅,拥有两门国家"双一流"建设学科。学科拥有一支约120人的高水平教师队伍,其中包括6位中国科学院院士和约50位国家级高层次人才。建有内生金属矿床成矿机制研究国家重点实验室、表生地球化学教育部重点实验室、关键地球物质循环教育部前沿科学中心等多个科研平台以及国家级地球科学教学示范中心,与国内外几十所大学和研究机构建立了长期的人才培养和科研合作关系,具有较强的国际影响力。
南京大学空间地球科学研究院是设在苏州校区的新型科研机构,与可持续发展大数据国际研究中心深度合作,致力于地球科学、空间科学和信息科学的交叉融合研究,开展空间对地观测、地球大数据、月基—日地月系统观测理论与技术研究,建设地球环境与人类可持续发展模拟平台。研究院旨在建成国际知名的空间地球科学创新高地、高水平人才培养中心、国际合作示范平台和服务国家战略需求的重要力量,成为我国空间地球科学研究与发展的引领机构。
二、招聘岗位设置
南京大学空间地球科学研究院学院拟面向全球招聘有志于从事空间地球科学领域、遥感科学与技术领域、地球大数据领域、可持续发展科学领域的优秀青年人才到学院工作。本次拟招聘岗位以准聘助理教授为主,岗位总数原则上不超过若干名;特别优秀的高层次人才岗位另议。招聘研究方向包括:
1.空间对地观测理论与方法
2.地球大数据科学与技术
3.月基日地月系统观测
4.可持续发展科学
三、申请条件
1.遵守中华人民共和国法律和法规,热爱教学科研事业;

3.一流的学术背景:具有相关学科领域的博士学位,具有一流教学科研机构的学习、工作经验,熟悉相关领域国际前沿的研究动态。其中助理教授要求(博士毕业从事学术研究两年以上);准聘副教授要求(博士毕业从事学术研究4年以上);
4.出色的教学能力:应具有能够胜任本专业核心基础课程和前沿课程的教学能力,掌握良好的教学方法,具有较强的语言表达能力;
5.突出的科研成果显示度与未来科研发展潜力:应有相关研究方向的成果显示度,对相关研究领域有原创性观点,未来研究计划思路清晰,具有较好的学术潜力。

I. The Institute of Space Earth Science
The Institute of Space Earth Science (ISES) at Nanjing University is established in support of the School of Earth Sciences and Engineering, a leading interdisciplinary center for high education and research in Earth Sciences. The China Discipline Evaluation selected two disciplines in the national "Double First-Class" construction plan. Today, it is the home of about 120 faculty members, including six academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and about 50 national high-level professors. It hosts the State Key Laboratory for Mineral Deposits Research, the Key Laboratory of Surficial Geochemistry, the Frontiers Science Center for Critical Earth Material Cycling, and the Ministry of Education. These research platforms provide state-of-the-art facilities, welcome joint research projects to scientists, and establish long-term cooperation and exchange relationships with numerous universities and institutions worldwide.
ISES is one of the first batches of institutes established by Nanjing University in the Suzhou Campus, having deep cooperation with the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals. Focusing on integrating Earth Science, Space Science, and Information Sciences, ISES conducts theoretical and technical research on Earth observation from space, big Earth data, and moon-based observation of the Earth and solar system, and builds a simulation platform for Earth environment and human sustainable development. ISES aims to be a renowned innovation highland, a high-level talent developing center, an international cooperation demonstration platform, and a leading institution concentrating on the research and development of space earth science.
II. The Positions
ISES invites worldwide applications of first-class leading talents and young leading innovative talents in the fields of space earth science, remote sensing, big Earth data, and sustainable development. There are vacancies for X tenure-track assistant professor and X tenure-track associate professors this year. Higher positions for scholars with extraordinary performance are available and will be considered individually. Specific fields of research open for recruitment are:
(1)Theory and Method of Earth Observation from Space
(2)Big Earth Data Science and Technology
(3)Moon-based Observation of Earth and Solar System
(4)Sustainable Development Science
III. Qualifications for Application
The applicant should
(1)abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research;
(2)abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;
(3)have academic training from top-ranked universities—specifically, a Ph.D in relevant disciplines, experience in studying and/or working at first-rate teaching and research institutions, and knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research field(s); The applicant for Assistant Professor should have engaged in academic research and teaching for no less than two years after receiving the doctoral degree. The applicant for Associate Professor should have engaged in academic research and teaching for no less than four years after receiving the doctoral degree.
(4)have outstanding teaching abilities—the applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;
(5)demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, visionary ideas about relevant fields of research plans and academic development.
